Cycle 7 days southern Gotland

The journey begins in the medieval town of Visby with its narrow cobbled streets. Enjoy a moment in the sun at any outdoor seating. Then you continue south along some byroads past the genuine Gotlandic limestone houses. Do not forget to visit Hoburgsgubben, a limestone formation on Hoburgen. Take a short break in the restaurant nearby and taste the famous Gotlandic saffron pancake that is served with salmbärssylt, a jam on a special blue raspberry that only grows on Gotland. To get to Katthammarsvik, an old fishing village rich of limestone formations, you cycle through Ronehamn and Ljugarn.

The journey continues towards Roma and a visit to Roma Kungsgård where Shakespeare’s comedy “Twelfth Night” is played in the abbey ruins is mandatory.
