Cycle 5 days southern Gotland

The journey begins in the medieval town of Visby, then you continue south along some byroads past genuine Gotlandic houses and with the smell of warm summer meadow. Do not forget to visit Hoburgsgubben, a limestone formation on Hoburgen. Take a short break in the restaurant nearby and taste the famous Gotlandic saffron pancake that is served with salmbärssylt, a jam on a special blue raspberry that only grows on Gotland.

Take a coffee break at Lojsta moor and you might get to see the beautiful Gotland pony.

The journey continues towards Roma and a visit to Roma Kungsgård where Shakespeare’s comedy “Twelfth Night” is played in the abbey ruins is mandatory.
